This was my final promotional video created at my internship in Finland. I sorted through several hours of b-roll as well as several hours of interview material to create a video sharing the importance of digital technology for deaf students in Tanzania. The interviews conducted in Swahili sign language allowed me to learn about AI voiceovers, and finding appropriate music was a fun challenge. I created the entire video from start to finish and am excited to see how it helps FSE acquire the donations that they need.
This was my first completed project at my internship in Finland. With the guidance of the team at Sakea I was trusted to sort through nearly 2 hours of footage from their trip to the village, Ngoswak, and create a 2 minute video to be used for fundraising. In addition to the editing, I wrote and recorded the voiceover for the script. The FSE team is seeking donations to get clean water, school lunch, and better sanitation facilities in the village and this video will be used for promotional advertising. I learned a lot about Adobe Premiere, Bridge, Photoshop, and Audition from this project.
One of my projects for FSE was remaking their website. I heightened the quality of the texts, edited photos, and created a more modern look to help establish a brand for the organization. I originally created this site using Wix, but then transferred the site to WordPress and gained skills on that platform as well. I learned how to create a multi-language site and enjoyed troubleshooting the hurdles that came with it. I had the opportunity to sort through documentary footage for testimonials and learned more about how non-profits approach website and marketing choices.
As my first commissioned job, I redesigned the outdated website for the Scottish Rite Valley of Madison. I used modern looks to make the site more enticing to potential and younger community members, organized and consolidated their information to make the site more intuitive, and integrated their organization's colors and photos. I really enjoyed seeing the progression from old to new and seeing my ideas come to life.

I designed the Mad City Ghost Walks site from scratch using Wix site. This site helped me learn how to navigate adding bookings and payments to sites. It was fun trying to incorporate a cohesive theme that presented the message of both eerie and professional.
